We rent out two complete Funktion-One systems, both as fixed combinations. The F1201 Set is the accessible one: two horn-loaded F1201 tops over a QSC KS118 sub reaching down to 35 Hz, with a QSC GXD8 amp rack in between. €250 per day including VAT. This set always goes out with installation by us: we place it, connect it and tune it to the room. That cost depends on your location and setup time and appears as a separate line on your quote. Good for parties up to around 300 people.
If you need more, the flagship is ready: two Res 2 tops on two F218 MkII double 18-inch bass enclosures, with an amp rack carrying MC² on the subs, Lab.gruppen on the tops and a limiter protecting it all. Delivered pre-tuned and ready to use, for €375 per day including VAT, for roughly 100 up to 500-plus people.

What makes Funktion-One so special?+
Funktion-One builds fully horn-loaded loudspeakers without digital trickery. That makes the sound extremely efficient and detailed: even at high volume it stays open and fatigue-free. There is a reason it is the standard in world-famous clubs and at festivals.
What is the difference between the F1201 Set and the Res 2 set?+
How much low end you want under it, and how far it has to carry. The F1201 Set has two horn-loaded 12-inch tops over a single 18-inch sub and covers up to around 300 people, at €250 per day, excluding our installation. The Res 2 set has larger tops over two double 18-inch F218 bass enclosures, reaches deeper and keeps that up to 500-plus people, at €375 per day. Both sound like Funktion-One; the difference is how much bass you want under a dance floor. Not sure? Give us a call and we will pick one together.
How many people are these sets suitable for?+
The F1201 Set up to around 300 people and the Res 2 set from roughly 100 to 500+ people, both indoors and with a dance floor. Outdoors or in a large open space, expect about half; for background music and speeches only, comfortably double. Both have so much headroom that they never sound forced. Unsure about your venue? Can I rent the tops or subs separately?+
No, we rent both systems exclusively as complete sets including the amp rack. That way we know the amplification, filtering and limiting are always right and the system sounds as intended. The QSC KS118 subwoofer from the F1201 Set can be rented separately, for example under your own speakers.
Is amplification included, and how is the system protected?+
Yes, the set comes with a complete amp rack: MC² amplification on the subs and Lab.gruppen on the tops, plus a limiter that protects the system against clipping. Everything is tuned as one.
Is the set delivered and set up?+
For the F1201 Set we always handle placement, connection and tuning ourselves; that set does not leave our door without the right amplifier settings. So it is a condition, not a choice. The €250 day rate excludes that installation: what it costs depends on your location and the setup time, and we put it on your quote as a separate line. For the Res 2 set the subs are on wheels and everything arrives in flight cases; setup and tuning there are available on request. Delivery is available throughout the region. A DJ set and booth are easy to add.
